1st Annual Sizzlefest
1st Annual Sizzlefest
We are extremely pumped to announce the very 1st annual Sizzlefest!

On September 2nd, we will celebrate Chris Forsythe just the way he would have wanted - bands, food and friends.

Doors will open at 2:00 pm and music will start at 3:30. Bands will play "mixtape" style sets, highlighting much of his musical career.

Although entry will be free, donations will be taken for the American Heart Association.

Come hang out with us and celebrate Sizzle.

We hope to see you all there!

Rest In Peace

Tree Of Woe
Tree Of Woe
Formed in Summer 2011 by Jeff Montoya (Catheter) and Keith Keeran (Grindscape), Tree Of Woe is rounded out by Chris Walters (Try Redemption) and Chris Forsythe (Malakai). All long time veterans of the Colorado music scene, Tree Of Woe was started with one mission in mind, obliterate everyone.
Grindscape
Grindscape
Born in 2003, Grindscape has left its footprint on the ass of many a metal fan. With no boundaries limiting creativity, their unique sound holds a little something for a wide group of varied metal tastes. Grindscapes road tested live show has earned opening slots for touring acts such as Goatwhore , Exodus, In This Moment, and Apocalyptica.
The Dub Project
The Dub Project
The Dub Project spawned from Anthony Welch, who was drumming for the band Erased at the time, and his first solo CD, which he recorded in 2003. Beaten down by a failed marriage that ended badly along with legal troubles, the drummer released his first attempt at a solo record, "Shattered Life." It was rough around the edges but would lead to the formation of a live band, originally put together to do just one show ...Welch wrote more songs and again a band was put together utilizing some friends and fellow band mates from Colorado Springs nu-metal act Erased. A side project was formed. With no ideas for a name, it was dubbed (no pun intended) The Dub Project.
A rousing response led to the act becoming a full-time band. The Dub Project had a great run, opening for bands such as Hemlock, Flaw and American Head Charge. The group played local venues such as Navajo Hogan, First Draft Choice, 32 Bleu and the Ogden Theatre in Denver before calling it quits in the spring of 2006.
Currently, Welch is the front man for Another Shade of Hate, drummer for We Are All Destined to Fail and also drums for the cover band 40oz. Freedom Fighters.

Talia Hoit
Talia Hoit
Talia Hoit is a singer-songwriter from Colorado, featuring piano-driven originals. Classically trained, Talia began playing the piano at the age of 5 and went on to study classical piano performance. After being called too "free-spirited" to be a concert pianist, she found her creative outlet by bringing her classical influence and lyrical writing skills into the hard rock and heavy metal genres. After 5 years as the keyboardist with the symphonic metal band, AnaDies, Talia settled into her own style and released her first solo album, Fate's Too Small, in 2008. In 2012, she released her second solo album "A Little Longer".
